日圓–日圓窄幅爭持，高市早苗成為自民黨新任總裁
美元在周五承壓，由於美國政府停擺，關鍵就業數據被推遲發布，市場缺乏明確方向。國會未能就撥款議案達成協議，美國政府自上周三起陷入停擺，勞工部暫停了原定於周五的月度就業報告發布。該報告對美聯儲和投資者評估美國經濟健康狀況及利率走向至關重要。這迫使市場參與者轉而依賴本周早些時候發布的替代估計和民間機構調查數據，以判斷經濟表現。這些數據顯示就業市場正逐步放緩。周五最受關注的數據是供應管理協會(ISM）公佈的9月美國服務業採購經理人指數(PMI)。數據顯示，服務業活動在9月陷入停滯，新訂單放緩，就業疲軟進一步印證了勞動力市場的疲軟跡象。另外，美聯儲官員周五的言論顯示，聯儲內部對利率路徑存在分歧。芝加哥聯儲總裁古爾斯比表示，在通脹仍高於2%目標的情況下，他對進行一系列降息持謹慎態度。相反，美聯儲理事米蘭則主張採取更激進地放寬貨幣政策。芝商所的數據顯示，利率期貨交易員周五預計美聯儲本月稍晚降息25個基點的概率為97%。
日圓在上周呈顯著走強，但其後於周四周五出現小幅調整，日本央行總裁植田和男在對全球經濟的評論中採取了謹慎的基調，降低了即將加息的預期，從而導致日圓疲軟。另外，高市早苗在周六贏得日本執政黨自民黨總裁選舉，很可能成為日本第一位女首相。
日元走勢繼續見波幅收窄，上周五收市147.44美元。在將會出現一個新的走勢之前繼續整固發展，日元目前支持位在149.75及152.60，阻力參考在146.10。

阻力 148.30 – 149.00 - 150.00 – 151.22 – 152.00
支持 146.50 – 145.50 – 145.00 – 142.60
