美元周五和其他避險貨幣一道上漲，股市下跌，樂觀的美國經濟數據幫助美元收複上周早些時候的部分失地，當時美國聯邦儲備理事會(美聯儲)的鴿派信息令美元長達一個月的漲勢暫歇。股市下跌，受累於亞馬遜發布黯淡財報，人們愈發擔心Delta變種病毒的快速傳播，以及中國對科技和教育行業的監管打擊。美元上周稍早曾下跌，此前美聯儲主席鮑威爾在本周政策會議後的講話，他說離升息還
有一段距離，美國就業市場仍需“取得一些進展”，才是撤走經濟支持措施的時候。周五公布的經濟數據對美元利好。由於新冠疫苗接種刺激了旅遊相關服務的需求，美國
6月份消費者支出大增，增幅高於預期，但部分增長反映了物價上漲，通脹年率加速，進一步超過了美聯儲2%的目標。
歐元兌美元走勢，匯價在上周連日下探著1.1750，但一再能夠力守的情況下，至上周初已呈回升，並形成了一個半圓底的型態，同時，圖表亦見RSI及隨機指數已呈回升，歐元目前正挑戰著近期的重要阻力1.19，若後市可作突破，可望歐元有著較大的反彈動力。倘若以自五月起始的累計跌幅計算，38.2%的反彈幅度可至1.1950，擴展至50%及61.8%的幅度分別為1.2010及1.2070水平。但另一邊廂，亦要警剔後市一旦意外失守1.1750，則歐元兌美元又會復見沽壓，向下較大支持料為2020年11月4日低位1.1602以至1.15水平。

支持 1.1750* – 1.1602 - 1.1500
